September 20: Guest Speaker: Ed Tanaka - Japanese Canadian Internment Camps
- Swift Current Museum from 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Guest speaker, Ed Tanaka will share personal and family experiences from Japanese-Canadian Internment Camps, his family’s journey, and life between Canada and Japan.
This inspiring talk ties in with the Museum's current temporary exhibit, The Suitcase Project, and will include time for questions and open conversation.

Join us for a special day of culture & community!
Experience blessings by Sylvia Thorburn, a land acknowledgement by Catherine Aguilar, flag hoisting & greetings from local leaders, drumming by Delvin Stanley of Nekaneet First Nation
This day will also include “Right the Story”, a powerful presentation by Dr. Zoey Roy, award-winning artist, activist and educator. Zoey is a proud member of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation, with roots in Black Lake Denesuline Nation and Green Lake, SK.
