Our 2026 Summer Programs will run from July 6 to August 14 at a variety of parks throughout the community. In the case of inclement weather, alternative locations or cancellations may be announced. For the latest announcements regarding Summer Programs, please follow Community Services on the City of Swift Current on Facebook page.

Some 2026 Summer Programs require Pre-Registration. Registration opens June 2!

FAMILIES IN THE PARK (Children 0-5 and their Families)

Stay Tuned for 2026 Calendar

  • Monday to Thursday, Starting July 6- August 13
  • Kin Park
  • 9:30AM – 11:00 AM
  • Ages 0 to 5

Welcome Letter

MULTI-SPORT (Children ages 7-14)

  • Monday to Thursday
  • Various parks each week.
  • Beginner group from 8:30 – 9:30 AM
  • Intermidiate from 9:45– 10:45 AM
  • Space is limited & pre-registration is required. 
  • A different sport will take place each week. Children can register for one week, or all weeks. If they wish to register for all weeks, they will need to be signed up for each week individually. 
  • Schedule of activities:
    1. July 6 - 9 = Basketball ACT Park
    2. July 13 - 16 = Pickleball at Riverside Park courts
    3. July 20 – 23 =  Soccer, at Riverside Park
    4. July 27  – 30 = Street Hockey, Highland Park
    5. Aug 4 – 6 = Pool Activities – Fairview Pool
    6. Aug 10 – 13 = Games Galore Week ( Each day is something new!) 

THE ZONE (Youth ages 12-14, grades 6-8 in the Fall of 2026)

  • Monday to Thursday 12:00pm-3:00pm
  • Friday Field Trips 11:00am-4:00pm (Separate registration required - available at The Center during the program)
  • Located at The Centre (55 1st Ave NE)
  • Grades 6-8
  • FIRST 25 PARTICPANTS TO ARRIVE. This is a drop in program. Stay tuned for program calendar!

SPECIAL EVENTS

  • Kick off to Summer, June 10, 5:30pm-7:30pm
  • YouthFest June 30th, 6:00-8:00pm. 
  • iSplash July 17th, 10:00am-3:00pm @ Riverside Park
  • Kiwanis Coin Carnival: August 14th, 1:00pm-4:00pm @ Riverside Park
