Our 2025 Summer Programs will run from July 7 to August 15 at a variety of parks throughout the community. In the case of inclement weather, alternative locations or cancellations may be announced. For the latest announcements regarding Summer Programs, please follow Community Services on the City of Swift Current on Facebook page.

And now, without further ado (insert drum roll), here are the details of our 2025 Summer Programs:

FAMILIES IN THE PARK (Children 0-5 and their Families)

  • Monday to Thursday, Starting July 7- August 14 
  • Kin Park
  • 9:30AM – 11:00 AM
  • Ages 0 to 5

PARKS PLAY (Children ages 6-11) July 7-August 14

  • Mondays
  • Highland Park
  • 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM & 1:00PM-4:30PM
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • Saulteaux & ACT Parks
  • 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM & 1:00 - 4:30 PM
  • Wednesdays & Fridays
  • Riverside & Westside Parks
  • 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM & 1:00 - 4:30 PM

REGISTRATION OPENS ON JUNE 10TH. Registration is not required, as this is a drop-in program, but is recommended. CLICK HERE

MULTI-SPORT (Children ages 7-14)

  • Monday to Thursday
  • Various parks each week.
  • Beginner group from 8:30 – 9:30 AM
  • Intermidiate from 9:45– 10:45 AM
  • Space is limited & pre-registration is required. 
  • A different sport will take place each week. Children can register for one week, or all weeks. If they wish to register for all weeks, they will need to be signed up for each week individually. 
  • Schedule of activities:
    1. July 7th- 10th = Basketball ACT Park
    2. July 14th- 17th = Pickleball at Riverside Park courts
    3. July 21st – 24th = Football, at Highland Park, Perry Field
    4. July 28th – 31st = Soccer, Riverside Park
    5. Aug 4th – 7th = Pool Activities – Fairview Pool
    6. Aug 11th – 14th = Games Galore Week

THE ZONE (Youth ages 12-14, grades 6-8 in the Fall of 2025)

  • Monday to Thursday 12:00pm-3:00pm
  • Friday Field Trips 11:00am-4:00pm (Separate registration required - available at The Center during the program)
  • Located at The Centre (55 1st Ave NE)
  • Grades 6-8
