SWIFT CURRENT, SK – Swift Current Fire Department crews were dispatched to a structure fire in the 1100 block of North Hill Drive at 6:01 PM on February 15, 2025.
Upon arrival, firefighters found contents in the corner of an attached garage fully involved. Crews worked efficiently to gain control of the situation, and the fire was quickly extinguished. Ventilation and salvage operations were then performed. Structural and content damage was determined. There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire.
A total of three (3) vehicles responded to the incident, with nine (9) personnel on scene comprised of seven (7) career firefighters and two (2) auxiliary members. Other agencies responding to the incident were the RCMP, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), SaskEnergy, and City Light & Power.
The cause is currently under investigation.
