Thank you for signing up to be a volunteer for the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge and for your interest in becoming Safe Places – Youth Certified. Safe Places is happy to be able to provide the opportunity for volunteers to become Youth Certified, free of charge.

Our program aims to educate and raise awareness around the areas of Bullying, Abuse, Harassment and Discrimination while ensuring that adults working with youth have appropriate background checks.

We want to ensure that all youth, whether visiting from out of town or as part of our community have a positive experience in Swift Current.

Becoming Safe Places – Youth Certified
Please review the steps outlined below to complete the Respect in Sport Training and to become Youth Certified. Successful Completion of this process will give you a Safe Places 'Youth Certified' card valid for 3 years

If you require assistance at any point throughout this process, contact Safe Places Manager Kelly Schafer, by email k.schafer@swiftcurrent.ca or call 306.778.1677.
