Exam Proctoring
Exam proctoring is available during library hours. $50 per exam. The fee can be paid in cash or cheque. The cheque for the service is to be made to City of Swift Current - Library. For more information, call the library at 306-778-2752.
 
Computers & Internet Access
Computer workstations with Word, Excel and PowerPoint are available for public use in the library. The workstations also provide access to the Internet/email, library catalogue and research databases. Our library offers FREE Internet access for the public.
One hour time slots are available daily for patrons with library cards wanting to access their e-mail, search the Internet, search library catalogues, and search provincially licensed full-text databases. 15 minute time slots on an express computer are available for visitors without the cards. To sign up for a time slot phone or drop-in during regular library hours. Printing is available at $0.25 per page (black and white only). Scanning, Faxing, and Photocopying
Scanning
$2 for the first page. $0.25 for subsequent pages.

Faxing
  • Sending:
      - Saskatchewan: $1 first page (0.25 each additional page)
      - Canada: $2 first page (0.25 each additional page)
      - International: $3 first page (0.25 each additional page)
      - 1-800#: $1 (sending and receiving)
  • Receiving: $1 first page (0.25 each additional page) for all except 1-800#
Photocopying
$0.25 per page.

Swift Current Branch offers many programs to assist the community of Swift Current such as author readings, summer reading programs, tours, children's activities, Internet classes, Senior's Outreach and more. To find more about our current programs, click here.
 
Reference
Swift Current Branch Library provides research assistance to the community of Swift Current by assisting with genealogy research, homework, trivia and/or any other question that you may have. Swift Current Branch Library also provides Ask Us, a 24 hour online reference service that provides brief answers to factual questions, bibliographies and guidance on how to start your research.
 
Tours and Visits
We can arrange a specially designed visit to the library for your students, clients, or social group and highlight a specific topic or an area of interest. To learn about class visits or group tours, please call 306-778-2752.
 
Speakers
