Swift Current Museum
Opening in 2008, the Museum's brand new permanent gallery will examine the complex relationship between humans and their environment in southwest Saskatchewan. The museum also features temporary gallery space, with new exhibitions going up regluarly. Check out website for details.
Art Gallery of Swift Current
See something to think about! Art Gallery of Swift Current is a public, non-profit, national standard art museum that offers exhibitions of provincial, national and international artwork. Admission is free.
Swift Current Branch Library
The Swift Current Branch Library provides materials, information services, and programs to assist patrons, to nurture literacy and life-long learning, to spark curiosity and to inspire dreams. The library board and staff are dedicated to public service, equitable access, and meeting the cultural, recreational and practical information needs of the community they serve. Swift Current Branch Library extends its services through the Chinook Regional Library and the provincial public library system. The Board of the Swift Current Branch Library affirms the Statement of Intellectual Freedom of the Canadian Library Association.

Come see the selection of reading material that the Chinook Regional Library has to offer. Read today's newspaper; borrow audio books, magazines, large-print books, puzzles, best sellers, videos and more! Free Internet access lets you send e-mail and surf the net! Faxing and photocopying services are also available. Come in and get your free library card or use your library card from any public library in Saskatchewan.
Live Theatre
The Swift Current Little Theatre stages two productions every year. These first class dramas are performed at a regular show and at either a pub or dinner theatre. Contact them at (306)773-6503.

Stars For Saskatchewan
Each year the Arts Council organizes 'Stars for Saskatchewan,' a spectacular series of performances featuring provincial, national, and international performers.
Write Out Loud Series
Southwest Cultural Development Group Inc. is instrumental in bringing Canadian authors to Swift Current to provide public readings of their works, and to conduct workshops with school students. Readings, combined with musical entertainment by local performers, take place monthly from September to May in the historic Lyric Theatre, in downtown Swift Current.
Windfall
Every October the Allied Arts Council hosts 'Windfall', an extensive arts and crafts sale that attracts artisans and craftspeople from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Over one hundred booths sell unique handmade crafts and works of art.
