On the Move is a program whose goal is to empower youth ages 10 to 15 years of age through various sport clinics, craft projects, games and educational experiences.
On the Move is now available all year round.

GIRLS ON THE MOVE
Based out of the Swift Current Friendship Centre on 830 North Railway Street East, Girls On the Move is a females only program operating on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
The young women involved with On the Move have an opportunity to interact with and learn from women involved in the delivery of the program. Participants have a chance to learn skills and have non-traditional experiences in sport, culture and recreation both on site and through tours in our community.
The participants of Girls On the Move also have the opportunity to participate in various sports clinics that teach different or unique sports.
Although some nights take place outside of the Friendship Centre, the girls are to be dropped off and picked up at the Friendship Centre. The Tele-Bus will provide transportation for these activities. |
MCCLEARY/ MARLEAU/ MOEN BOYS ON THE MOVE
This unique opportunity provides boys ages 10 to 15 years old the chance to participate in sport activities, such as floor hockey, rugby, golf, swimming and much more! The participants will have the chance to take part in various sports clinics to learn or try different and unique sports.

Operating out of the Rec Centre located at 350 6th Avenue NE,
Boys On the Move runs Thursdays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
Although not all activities are at the Rec Centre, boys are asked to be dropped off and picked up at the Rec Centre. The Tele-Bus will provide transportation on these nights. |
