Notice is hereby given that the City of Swift Current has received an application with respect to the proposed development of a Cannabis Retail Store at 212 Central Avenue North in accordance with Zoning Bylaw No. 24 – 2014.  

This proposal had originally been reviewed and approved by City Council as a discretionary use for the building unit at 220 Central Avenue North, and the applicant is requesting to relocate the development to the adjacent unit. The new proposed site is shown cross hatched on the map included in this advertisement.

A Public Hearing will be held on Monday, August 26th, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. and City Council will consider the application at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, September 9th, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 177 - 1st Avenue N.E. at 6:30 p.m.

Written submissions supporting or opposing the said application will be received by the City Clerk’s office on or before Wednesday, August 21st, 2019.  Arrangements to appear before City Council to present verbal submissions must be made with the City Clerk’s office on or before Wednesday, August 21st, 2019.
