Great Plains College is the premier post-secondary institution in West-Central/Southwest Saskatchewan, with campuses in Biggar, Gravelbourg, Kindersley, Maple Creek, Outlook, Rosetown, Shaunavon, Swift Current and Warman, as well as a Learning Centre in Macklin.
The College delivers a large number of post-secondary programs, including University - in partnership with the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan, Trades, Health Services, Community Services and Business programs. Additional programs include Basic Education, Literacy and English as a Second Language, industry and safety traning, professional development, as well as customized business training an a number of non-credit courses. Most courses are taught by local instructors, and a growing number are available online and through the distance education facilities of the Saskatchewan Communications Network (SCN) throughout the College region.

The Great Plains College "SUNDOGS" compete in the Prairie Athletic Conference against other Saskatchewan colleagues and SIAST campus teams. Volleyball sesons runs September to November, and Basketball is from January until March.
