Jim Jones is the City of Swift Current's Chief Administrative Officer.
The CAO Office assumes full responsibility for identifying, directing, and resourcing of Organizational Advancement Activities, including Strategic Direction and Alignment, Organization Change Management, and Operational Planning and Reporting. It serves as the final decision making authority regarding corporate budgets and allocation of financial, structural, and human resources. It is responsible for establishing a clean Annual Operational Planning and Reporting Process that is linked to the newly developed Strategy. It is also accountable for the communication process that allows Council and Residents to understand operational actions as they relate to achieving strategic commitments and the governance/reporting structure with City Administration, and is the lead coordinator and facilitator of key actions regarding Emergency Measures activities.
