PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
Swift Current has a new Swift Transit service that provides mass transit for the community. Click here for more information including phone numbers and rates. 

ACCESS TRANSIT:

The City of Swift Current partners with the Saskatchewan Abilities Council to provide an on-call Access Transit system for residents of Swift Current with mobility issues. If you have a mobility issue and you require transportation, call the Access Transit service operator at 306-773-2076 to make arrangements during regular operating hours. The fare for a one-way trip is $3.00. The contact information for the Swift Current branch of the Saskatchewan Abilities Council is:

There are three (3) taxi companies providing 24 hour service to Swift Current:

AIR SERVICE:

There are 2 paved runways: Runway #03-21 = 2500 x 50' and Runway #12-30 = 4250 x 150'. The airport is 3 1/2 miles from McIntyre Industrial Park and 5 miles from downtown Swift Current.

HIGHWAYS:
Swift Current is situated on the Trans Canada Highway and Highway 4. The Trans Canada Highway runs 160 km west to the Alberta border and 250 km east to Regina.

Highway 4 runs north into Northern Saskatchewan and Alberta, and south to the Montana border.

TRUCK TRANSPORT:
Swift Current is served by local and major trucking companies. Regular service is provided to all major points in the U.S.A. and Canada. In Swift Current, 12 trucking firms are primary general merchandise carriers, and 13 other motor carriers operate in and out of Swift Current. Some of these companies maintain warehousing and terminal facilities.

PASSENGER BUS SERVICE:
Swift Current is serviced by Greyhound Bus Lines, Saskatchewan Transportation Company, and a charter bus service, Sun West Coach
