Lt. Colonel Clifton Centre

The Lt. Colonel Clifton Centre (formerly known as the Recreation Centre), located at 350 6th Avenue NE, is a significant historic building in the City of Swift Current. A former armory for the Department of National Defence, this facility contains a gymnasium, a lounge, and a rifle range. 

The Gymnasium is available for rental year round for basketball, badminton, volleyball, floor hockey, indoor soccer, and much more! The Gymnasium is an economical option for recreational activities, and it has a wide variety of equipment available for use. For meetings and special event functions, the gymnasium can accommodate up to 100 people.  It is also available for rental to host trade shows in one of the following three layouts.

The Lower Lounge is an ideal place for birthday parties, club/sport wind-ups, and meetings. The Lower Lounge has a kitchenette, tables and chairs, and can accommodate up to 30 people. 

Equipment rentals are available to community members to stay active, try something new and have fun!  These low cost equipment rentals are available for use with the rental of the Lt. Col. Clifton Centre and offsite.  To view available
