The United Way Active play program is a free after school program that encourages physical activity and nutritious eating choices among children. This program includes five Swift Current schools with students from grades 1-6. Each session runs for six weeks at each school from dismissal until 5:15 p.m. The children participate in fun physical activities. This is followed by nutritious snacks and nutrition education. Information on this program and registration forms are sent home with the students from each school.
