Programming and Self-Directed Recreation
Community Services provides great opportunities for healthy lifestyles with recreation programs geared towards families, children, youth, and adults.
Community Services program leaders are trained in High Five Principles of healthy child development. HIGH FIVE, is Canada’s only comprehensive quality standard for children’s programs, providing practitioners with an evidence-based approach to healthy child development. All leaders 18 years and older are Safe Places youth certified.
