Lunch n Learn with Amy Jo Ehman

Eat Your History

Food defined the early life of Saskatchewan, from the pemmican trade to the "Breadbasket of Canada" to the social connections of the pioneers. And through it all, family recipes defined the hopes and histories of those who populated this land. Explore the historic connections of food and recipes with Amy Jo Ehman, author of Out of Old Saskatchewan Kitchens and Prairie Feast: A Writer's Journey Home for Dinner.

Amy Jo grew up on a farm at Craik and now lives in Saskatoon. She is the author of five books, including Prairie Feast: A Writer's Journey Home for Dinner, Out of Old Saskatchewan Kitchens and Thelma: A Life in Pictures.
