Susan Motkaluk is the current Chief Administrative Officer. As the Chief Administrative Officer she is primarily responsible for coordinating and directing the adminstrative organization of the City, in accordance with the policies and procedures as established by Council.

The Chief Administrative Officer ensures that the by-laws and resolutions of Council are implemented and administered by the appropriate City Department.

The Chief Administrative Officer acts as the Chief Public Relations Officer as far as non-elected personnel are concerned, in order to create a favorable climate between City administrations and the community.
