The Recreation and Parks Board serves as an advisory and policy-making board for the Recreation and Parks Department. The members of the community are citizens of Swift Current who have a passion for recreation and/or parks and are committed to representing the public’s interests in providing guidance for the Department.
Currently, the Board consists of:

- Barbara Walter
- Cassandra Appelgren
- Lenni Zanidean
- Jocelyn Martin
The Recreation and Parks Board meets 3 to 4 times throughout the year.
