In - Fill Area Application

The in-fill area is the area of the City designated to allow the moving into the City of used single family and duplex residential houses.

The in-fill area shall be that area shown on the map marked " In-Fill Area " that is Schedule C of Zoning Bylaw 4 - 2003.

• Only single family and duplex residential houses are allowed into in-fill areas.
• All houses shall meet the requirements of the National Building Code.
• All houses shall be inspected and approved by the Building Inspector before a moving permit is issued.
• The Building Inspector shall have the right to require any upgrading deemed necessary.
• All exterior repairs shall be completed within three (3) months of the date of the move.
• There will be an Inspection Fee of $250.00 plus $0.50 per kilometer traveled to and from the house to be inspected. No travel charges apply to homes located within five (5) kilometers of the City boundaries. An advance will be collected which includes the estimated travel charges.
• All lead water services shall be removed and replace with new copper lines, at owner's expense.
