Swift Current Fire Department responds to fire incident February 1st
On Feb 1st the Swift Current Fire Department received dispatch to alarms ringing at a private residence in Swift Current. Upon arrival Firefighters noted smoke in the residence with smoke detectors activated. Firefighters gained immediate access to the structure and performed a primary search for occupants.
The primary search team entered the structure and began the search for occupants. Firefighters discovered the fire and extinguished the fire while continuing with the primary search for residence of the home.
Firefighters located an unconscious male and an unconscious female and quickly removed them from the structure. The occupants were assessed on scene by SCA staff.
Both occupants of the building were released from the scene with no injuries.
