2023 Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting

Every year residents gather together in Market Square as we light the Christmas Tree, kicking off the holiday season! It's an evening of fun for the whole family with hot chocolate, sleigh rides, special performances, and of course, a visit from Santa Claus! So bundle up, come early to find parking, and bring the whole family out for this holiday tradition!
Emergency Services is running a Food Drive during this event... please bring any non-perishable food and personal care items you'd like to donate!
The 2023 Christmas Tree Lighting will take place on Thursday, November 23rd at 7:00 PM, and we are looking forward to visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, hot chocolate, sleigh rides, treat bags, special performances and the Swift Current Broncos.
